You do a great job with Mina's class snobbery, making it clear to the reader but not to her. And I love the footnotes -- I remember that Will Shetterly one where he assumed anyone with a fancy .edu address was rich. And the bit about his libertarian low income and welfare-grabbing is so full of fail. O.O!
