This isn't an update.
I just wanted to thank flyingcarpet for her footnoting, and to let you all know that thanks to her, the footnotes for season one looking more footnote-ish. Check it out: snailmail affair, charitable impulse, young blood: now with references numbers in the text, even.
If it had been left to me to do that, it would have taken roughly eleventy billion years while I tried to fit it in, so I seriously cannot begin to thank her enough.
