Well, short of them killing werewolves with a Winchester that fires silver bullets... but I can't think if any good reason for them to have a Winchester rather than a modern gun.

Unless they were also steampunk fans.

I've just read the Russet Noon stuff. Wow. I don't know if my favourite bit was her self-comparison to Mary Shelley, or the assertion that she deserves to make money from fic

A: I believe I have more training and education than the average fanfic writer, so that’s the only reason I wanted to release it as a book, but I guess it’s been turned into a huge moral issue.

*sigh* So many ways to miss the point...
